Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013) Get the WD40 out and give the locks a good spray, my drivers door lock was full of salt the WD cleared it. Worked it out to 2 possible problems.. 1. The door locking mechanism is stuffed as i have to manually push the black catch down. 2. Electrical problem. I own an octavia mk II and I face the problem of the interior lightning. I've checked for broken/damaged wiring and could find none. I've checked the connectors to both the door lock and the door control module and they were dry and clean.
